Mahzooz announced on Sunday that it was also introducing a new raffle draw where three participants will win Dhs100,000 each. All of the participants from that draw will then be entered into a grand draw immediately after wherein those who match 5 out of 49 numbers win a prize of Dhs10m, those who match four out of the five drawn numbers win Dhs1m and those who match 3 of the 5 numbers win Dhs350 each.
Mahzooz was initially called The Emirates Loto. It was abruptly discontinued after a few editions in July 2020 and returned in November rebranded as Mahzooz, which means lucky in Arabic.
Mahzooz has now become the second-biggest draw in the UAE following the recent introduction of Emirates Draw which has a grand prize of Dhs77.7m and is also held weekly.
