What Determines Eligibility?

Applications are accepted from interested candidates from around the World.

Eligible Course of Study: Geoinformation Technology & Cartography, Geomatics & Management, Geospatial & Mapping Sciences, Land & Hydrographic Surveying, and Sustainable Water Environments.

Only students with a conditional, or unconditional offer to study for a Master’s Degree at the University, are eligible for the program.

Only MSc applicants will be considered.

Students must be also classified as International for fee purpose.

How To Apply For The School Of Geographical And Earth Sciences Scholarships

In order to participate, the applicants will need to enroll for admission at the University, before 29 May 2020.

After admission, applicant’s holders will be automatically assessed for this opportunity.

Applicants who are considered for the Award, will be notified within six weeks of receiving an offer.

This program does not require a separate application form.

Required Documents: Candidates are expected to submit any additional documents, update their personal details and check the status of their application.

To apply, applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree, with a GPA of 3.0+, or its International equivalent from an accredited University, or College in a relevant subject. Usually a 2.1(Second Class Upper) or 2.2(Second Class Lower) Honors Degree, or its equivalent in a relevant subject.

For candidates whose first language is not English language, they will need to show that their English language skills, are at a high level, enough to succeed in their studies.

This may require showing proficiency in an internationally recognized English Language test with the least minimum requirements.

Benefits Of The Award

The grant will provide an amount of £10,000 to cover for the candidate’s tuition fees and other costs.
