The Award is available to UK, EU and Overseas students.
The aim of the Grant is to provide financial assistance to candidates, who wish to pursue a Master Degree at the University.
About The Awarding Institution
Kent Business School, also known as KBS, is the Business school of the University of Kent. Since opening in 1988, it offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate and PhD Degree programmes, as well as non-Degree ‘part-time‘ executive education, for individuals and companies.
KBS is consistently ranked among the top 20 Business Schools in the United Kingdom.
The University of Kent’s Business School, currently runs 6 programmes, including Undergraduate Courses in Accounting and Finance, Business and Management, and Marketing.

What Determines Eligibility?
Applicants are expected to meet the following criteria:
- This funding is available to all applicants, who are want to apply for a Kent Business School Masters programme.
- Any award will be determined, based on an assessment of your supporting hardship statement.
How To Apply For The International Hardship Bursary
A Hardship Grant can only be considered, as soon as applicants take admission for the Master’s programme at Kent Business School.
After that, you can apply for the grant via your Applicant Portal, by submitting a supporting statement, and describing your current circumstance. Then they will receive a formal offer for 2020 entry.
Interested candidates that are applying from non-English speaking Countries, will have to demonstrate that they met the minimum requirements of English language, in order for them to be able to take on the course and participate in the program.
Applicants can apply for the Kent Business School Hardship Bursary, only after they have received a formal offer, to study a Master’s programme at Kent Business School.
Benefits Of The Award
The selected Scholars will receive awards of up to £3,000.
Awards will be considered on a rolling basis by the Awarding Panel every month, with successful candidates notified within one week of the panel meeting.
