Approximately 45 Scholarships have been made available for interested aspirants who wish to pursue a Graduate Degree Program at the University for the academic year 2020-2021.

What Determines Eligibility?
The interested candidate must be an International student in order to be considered for this program.
There are three types of Scholarships available:
- International Excellence Entrance Scholarship – 5 scholarships,
- International Regional Entrance Scholarship – 35 scholarships,
- British Columbia High School Entrance Scholarship – 5 scholarships
To qualify for eligibility for International Excellence Entrance Scholarship, the applicant must apply to study at UFV in their graduating year or have recently graduated with a minimum overall GPA (Grade Point Average) of 3.5.
To qualify for eligibility for the International Regional Entrance Scholarship, the applicant must apply to UFV in their graduating year or have recently graduated with a minimum overall GPA (Grade Point Average) of 3.0.
To qualify for eligibility for British Columbia High School Entrance Scholarship, the applicant must apply to UFV in their graduating year with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 on all grade 12 courses (minimum three grade 12 academic courses required).
Note: This Scholarship is not available for short-term visiting students and exchange students.
Acceptable Course of Study: The University offers these grants for studying the graduate degree program in the following fields: Art, design & architecture, Humanities & social sciences, Business, Education, Engineering, Information technology, Law, Medicine, nursing & health sciences, Pharmacy & pharmaceutical sciences, Science.
How You Can Apply
In order to sign up for this program candidates are advised to follow this application procedure:
The candidate will be required to enroll for an admission into The Graduate Degree Program at the University of the Fraser Valley. Once you receive your offer, accepting it is secure.
You will receive a notification from the University if you have a suggestion.
For candidates applying to the International Excellence Entrance Scholarship, they will be required to download and submit the award application form to email@example.com.
Applicants will then be automatically considered for International Regional Entrance Scholarship and British Columbia High School Entrance Scholarship, after being enrolled.
Required Documents: the applicants will be required to submit the following documents; High school degree certificate transcripts of the current school, Transcripts of the previous school (only if requested), Post-secondary transcript, Official test scores, Resume/curriculum vitae.
Applicants must have also completed the Canadian Grade 12 equivalent and the basic qualifications for admission into any career, educational, or academic program.
To apply for a Graduate program, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or its equivalent Degree from a recognized Institution.
There are Standard English requirements and special English requirements for successfully applying for the University.
Visa Requirements: Candidates will need to be issued unique permits and VISAS as an International student to study in Canada. This will be done at the Canadian embassy, consulate, or high commission nearest to you. You will apply for your permit as soon as the University receives your offer of admission and wants to approve it.
Benefits Of The Awards
The Scholarship will be awarded as follows:
Five International Excellence Entrance Scholarships will be awarded worth up to $10,000.
25 International Regional Entrance Scholarships will be awarded worth up to $5,000.
Five British Columbia (BC) High School Entrance Scholarships will be awarded worth up to $5,000.
